Customer Reviews
Most helpful customer reviewsFine pressing

Product arrived in good condition via an international shipment from the US to Australia. Delivery time was quick. The vinyl is a fine pressing! Quality of sound is as clear as it gets and brings out the essence of a band like Deep Purple at its finest in a 1972 release from Montreux Casino, Switzerland. Zappa's band burnt the building down and Purple captured the experience as 'Smoke on the Water'! Well packaged too.
Classic Hard Rock
By frank colapietro
Machine Head is a timeless piece of Rock history. Every Mark 2 Deep Purple record led off with a classic song, but Highway Star is by far the best of the bunch.
Every time I hear it I go back to my teenage years and smile. Maybe i'm a leo, Never before, and pictures of home all showcase the musical aptitude of this fine
band. Lazy and Space Truckin pound out a heavy groove, and Smoke on the Water is the ultimate Rock RIFF.
Every great musical group has their moment and Machine Head is Deep Purple.
