I have used the device for a month now and have to say that I am truly amazed by how well it works. Having almost destroyed my neck with other products, I was forced to clean my strings with a cloth or my fingernails, which is nasty. I have been waiting for something like this for a loooong time. It is so easy to use, highly efficient, and it cleans the strings underneath! I also like the fact that you can just clean the microfiber cloth every month or so and then it is brand new again(although, you should really let it dry properly before using it again!). I guess you can probably get around 6 - 8 months out of this little device, which of course saves some good time and money. I think this product will become a must have for all serious guitar players. At least it is for me. Way cool! The String Cleaner - The Ultimate String Cleaning Tool.

I agree with all of the reviews, but have found another area to use fast fret on: THE NUT. When tuning, the strings (especially the lower wound strings) hang up on the nut which causes the string to pop instead of slide as it would on a roller nut. Dab Fast Fret onto the nut before tuning, and this problem is greatly reduced.

String cleaner? More like string saver!

Well, I started using fast fret back in 2005, and I've been buying it every since. If you use it as recommended (put on/wipe off before/after playing) it makes your strings sound brand new for well over a month. Once I got a pair to last for about four months! One tip I have is to buy two "bottles" of it because you can't really tell when you are getting low on the stuff. that way if one bottle gives out on you there's one in reserve.

I highly recommend this product both as a musician and someone who hates changing strings (and buying them!)

Makes guitar look and feel new
I love the Dunlop Formula 65 polish and cleaner. It works really well, and I like the easy to use pump spray mechanism. I've used other brands in the past, and they had poor spray nozzles. This one works almost like a mist. It does a good job of removing smudges and fingerprints. I spray it directly on the surface of the guitar, and then wipe it off with a flannel cloth. After I'm done the shine looks glassy and great!

It really makes your guitar shine! Also I use it on my guitar neck and fretboard and keeps it smooth and shiny. 5 stars. Also the price is right.
