Crooks  I have Schecter guitars, I use this case on a Spitfire from the aviation series form about 2-3 years back..it fits perfectly. It's a hard case obviously, but the molding of it just makes it seem even more durable, and the clasps...I LOVE them, 75% of the reason I love this case is because of the clasps. they arent the cheap metal ones you have to fold up then lay over another metal piece then fold down ..where when I try that I miss half the time and wast time when I'm in a rush to set up and tear down for gigs. If you have a guitar center near you and are looking for a case , bring your guitar and try this case model ..if it fits...order it online , you won't regret it. I just bought another Schecter online today, when it comes in , if it fits this case I'll be buying another one. Nice case with quality hardware  By BeeSee  This is my second SKB case; I was so impressed with the quality of the first one (fits a Fender Telecaster-style guitar) that I ordered this second one (fits a Les Paul-style guitar). The hardware and fit-and-finish are superior to other instrument cases I have owned, and the TSA-approved latches in particular seem very robust. The guitar fits snugly inside the case, with the neck supported below the headstock, such that the headstock and tuners "float" without contacting the inside of the case, which prevents the tuners from de-tuning every time you put the guitar in the case. Overall, a nice product.

Perfect fit for concert ukuleles!

Great ukulele case! Gave as a Christmas present to my boyfriend and he really likes it. His concert ukulele fits perfectly. The case is light weight and nice looking. Although this is not a true hard case, there is a generous amount of polyfoam used to line and give shape to the case--it does a great job protecting the instrument inside!

A solid case at a very reasonable price.
Ok...it's a guitar case. It's not like we're talking about a "Custom Shop" instrument here costing several thousand dollars or anything. If you are thinking about purchasing this item then chances are you already -KNOW- what it is. If not, this is a plywood construction hardshell guitar case designed for your average strat or tele style guitar (in other words, it won't fit a Les Paul). It provides a moderate degree of protection to a guitar while it's being taken from one place to another. The level of protection isn't as good as a plastic/synthetic/molded case which may be capable of protecting your cherished axe from a 20,000 foot fall from an airplane however it is CONSIDERABLY better than a simple "gig bag" which gives your instrument virtually no protection at all. In other words, if you are planning on shipping your guitar cross-country or internationally and/or your roadies have all of the grace of drunken, deranged orangutans during mating season, you -might- just want something a bit beefier...or at least a second ATA case to put this inside of. If on the other hand you're looking for something decent to take your axe to and from practice or gigs that will protect it from the average rigors associated with moving an instrument around, this is a very good way to go. The quality and workmanship are quite good, it's very attractive (assuming that you are like me and really dig tweed!) and it serves it's function and purpose very well as one would expect from a hardshell guitar case.

What makes this particular item note worthy is simply -the price-. If you've shopped around then you have probably already noticed that a "genuine Fender" case of this same style costs CONSIDERABLY more...often upwards of $150+ and in some cases (no pun intended) even the off brands can cost upwards around $100. The difference? Honestly, not much at all. The craftsmanship, the hardware and the attention to detail are all pretty comparable. The only notable difference is that a genuine Fender case has that Fender logo on the side...something that in my always and ever so humble opinion is hardly worth an extra $100+. I would have no worries at all about putting an American Standard or even a Custom Shop instrument in this case.

There are certainly those folks who really seem to believe that "you get what you pay for" who won't be content with anything except the highest priced item on the shelf (and always seem to have the dinero to pay it!). Of course there are those purists out there who have to have EVERYTHING "genuine" (as if having a logo on something such as a guitar case somehow makes it more special). If this type of snobbery isn't an issue for you and/or you're an average "working musician" simply looking for a decent hardshell at a fair price, this guitar case is an EXCELLENT value. Save that extra $100 to get your car fixed so you can make it to your next practice!

Good looks, good protection for your instrument and a great price...need I say more?

Helpful Measurements
For those of you frustrated with the lack of information on this bag, here are some measurements. I looked all over the web and even called a few sellers, but nobody could tell me the exact size!! The measurements below are of my own acoustic, which fits snugly and safely in this bag with about 3/4" of play all around.

Approximate INSIDE dimensions:

Bag Height (inside the whole thing): 37"
Body height (the height of the body): 18"
Neck Height (narrow portion between the top of the body to top of bag): 19"
Lower bout (horizontal across the widest portion of the body if it were standing up): 14 1/4"
Upper Bout (horizontal across the top of the body): 11"

Review: Good durable material; not as thickly padded as I'd hoped. Padding is about only 1/2", but this is a GIG BAG, meaning a carrying bag for responsible players, and not a CASE. It won't protect your guitar from a good chunk onto the bed or floor like a hard case might, but offers enough protection so that you can transport it without unnecessary worry. Case has one back strap, a music book pocket on the front, and a nice handle on the side. A good, durable bag.

I bought this for my 7year old's guitar. It's a great bag for a first time guitarist when your not quite ready to make the huge investment in the hard cases. Plus this bag has made transporting her guitar much easier for her.

I needed something to haul around my Semi-Jumbo Yamaha F-310 guitar and this does the trick. I wasn't looking for anything fancy and something that would allow me to put the guitar safely in to the back seat. This does it without breaking the bank.

I wasn't sure if this would fit my guitar but I rolled the dice and I am pleased. the quality of the case is so-so but excellent for the price. I wouldn't recommend this case if you are looking for a case that will hold up to heavy use, not that it is falling apart, it just doesn't seem like it would do well. Take that for what it is worth -- but getting it back and forth to lessons or on a camping trip, it should be fine.
